These terms explain how ExplAIn should be used.

What ExplAIn does

ExplAIn helps users understand documents in plain language. It may summarise documents, explain key points, provide helpful context, suggest next steps, suggest questions to ask, and draft replies for emails.

Not professional advice

ExplAIn does not provide medical, legal, financial or professional advice. It is for general understanding only. You should check important decisions with the relevant professional.

User responsibility

You are responsible for deciding what documents you upload and how you use the explanation. Do not rely on ExplAIn as the only source of truth for urgent, important or high-risk decisions.

Urgent situations

If you have severe symptoms, feel unsafe, have an emergency, or think urgent action may be needed, contact emergency services or a qualified professional immediately. Do not wait for or rely on ExplAIn.

Sensitive information

Please avoid uploading documents that show Tax File Numbers, Medicare numbers, bank details, card numbers, passport numbers or similar sensitive identifiers.

AI limitations

ExplAIn uses AI and may make mistakes, miss details, misunderstand unclear images or provide incomplete explanations. Always check the original document and confirm important information.

Payments

Paid access may be offered as a subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription terms, cancellation and billing details may be handled through Stripe or the payment page.

Acceptable use

Do not use ExplAIn to upload unlawful content, misuse other people’s personal information, avoid professional help in urgent situations, or attempt to disrupt the service.

Changes

ExplAIn may change over time as the product is tested and improved. These terms may also be updated.
